PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal training at PB Personal Training is offered as a focused, one-to-one option for people who want additional individual support alongside, or instead of, Sunday Strength Sessions.
Your Session
Every session is calm, coached, and structured - with no pressure to “keep up” or push beyond what’s sensible.
Training is focused on:

You’ll be coached throughout, with time to learn movements properly and understand why you’re doing them.

How One-to-One Training Works
Personal training is available on a limited basis and is most often used as a top-up for clients who already train through Sunday Strength Sessions.
Some people use 1-to-1 sessions to:
✔️ Work on specific goals
✔️ Refine technique
✔️ Build confidence with certain movements
✔️ Get extra support during busy or challenging periods
Others prefer one-to-one training from the outset - both options are welcome.
1. Phone Consultation
A fitness consultation is a short, relaxed conversation to help us understand what you’re looking for and whether training at PB Personal Training is the right fit for you.
During the call, we’ll talk about your current activity levels, any injuries or concerns, and what you’d like to work towards. This helps shape how training would look for you and ensures sessions are safe, sensible, and suited to your needs.
There’s no pressure to commit - it’s simply a chance to ask questions and make sure everything feels right before getting started.
2. Personalised Training
Personalised training at PB Personal Training is about working with your abilities, goals, and starting point - not following a one-size-fits-all programme.
Sessions are structured and adapted to you, focusing on building strength, improving movement, and progressing at a pace that makes sense for real life.
With clear coaching and guidance throughout, training is designed to help you improve consistently and confidently, without unnecessary pressure or complexity.
3. Ongoing Support
At Personal Best, the focus isn’t just on getting results - it’s on keeping them.
Once you’ve started training, coaching continues to evolve with you. Sessions are adjusted as you progress, routines are refined, and support is there to help you stay consistent over time.
The aim is long-term strength, confidence, and habits that last - not short-term fixes.

Free Phone Consultation
This is a short 15–20 minute phone call to talk through what you’re looking for and explain how training works at PB Personal Training.
We’ll cover:
• your experience with exercise
• what you’re hoping to achieve
• how Sunday Strength Sessions and personal training work.
There’s no pressure to sign up and no need to prepare anything in advance. It’s simply a chance to make sure everything feels like a good fit before training.
What to expect from your One-to-One
Train with me up to twice a week in a private studio. Each program is tailored to your goals and schedule - whether that means full-body workouts, upper/lower splits, or a mix based on your availability.
One At-Home Session per Week
You’ll complete a third session each week independently, with a workout I provide.
These home sessions use bodyweight, dumbbells, or kettlebells - no fancy equipment required.
Adaptive Programming (Updated Fortnightly)
Your plan evolves every two weeks to keep you progressing.
Example:

If your sessions are close together (e.g. Monday + Tuesday), you may follow an upper/lower split

If spaced out (e.g. Monday + Thursday), you’ll likely do two full-body sessions
Each client is programmed based on what works best for your body and recovery.
Circuit Training for Home Use
You'll also receive two staple conditioning circuits to keep things varied at home:

Saved by the Bell – A full-body kettlebell session

Bodyweight Blitz – A high-intensity, equipment-free circuit
Nutritional Support
I’ll provide realistic, ongoing guidance to help you move toward a healthy BMI, with advice on protein, carbs, and macros. No restrictive plans - just habits that fit your lifestyle.
Personal Training Journal
Each client gets a physical journal to track workouts, progress, and goals.
